    What areas do you service?

        We are based in Dayton and service the Perth Metro Area and surrounding suburbs. 


        As a guide, we service up to a 25km radius from the Perth area.

    Do you work with asbestos?

        Roofology does not work on asbestos roofs.

    How do I arrange for Sean to come out and give me a quote?

    How does our waitlist work?

        We have a waitlist in place for quote inspection appointments with Sean. 


        Enquiries are not automatically added to the waitlist, it is something that is confirmed during the enquiry process.


        We need a contact name, number, and suburb to be added to the waitlist.


        Wait times for an appointment with Sean vary, and due to ongoing demand for our services, our wait times have extended significantly in recent years.


        Given the possibility of extended wait times, you can make other enquiries without losing your place on the waitlist.


        Unfortunately, keeping everyone on the waitlist updated regularly is impossible. You can follow up to see how the waitlist is progressing at any time.


        You will be contacted closer to the date that your appointment can be scheduled. You will be removed from the waitlist if you do not respond to emails or texts about arranging the appointment.


        Once a quote is accepted, there is a standard turnaround time before the job can be completed.


        Our turnaround times are approximate, and due to variables including the weather, delays can be common.

    When does Sean quote?

        Sean does quote inspections and any follow-up visits on Saturdays. 


    What time does Sean quote?

        Sean quotes between 9am and 3pm on Saturday.


        Please let us know if there is a preferred time to schedule the appointment. Please note that we are not always able to offer preferred times.


        The quote appointment schedule is finalised midweek. Appointment times are confirmed by text on Thursday.


        Appointments must be confirmed by the close of business on Friday, or the appointment will be canceled.


        Please make sure you are home during the requested timeframe. Appointments may not be rescheduled if you are not home or forget about the appointment.

    What happens if it rains on my appointment day?

        We do not advise anyone to get on a roof when it’s raining. 


        Many people think it’s easier to investigate and fix roof leaks when it’s raining. When your roof is wet it can be slippery and dangerous, even for roofing experts.


        Sean does not inspect or repair roofs in inclement weather. Sean cannot properly assess the problem when it's wet. 


        If it does rain, we will contact you and reschedule your appointment. 

    What if Sean can locate and fix the problem on the spot?

        In the instances when Sean can both locate and fix the problem during the quote inspection, our minimum charge starts from $385 (including GST).


        Sean can sometimes do a temporary repair when inspecting the roof. A temporary repair is not guaranteed to fix the problem. It is an effort to reduce possible water damage before Sean can return to complete the permanent repairs.


        Our minimum charge applies if Sean can do a temporary repair.



    When will I receive my quote?

        You can expect to receive your quote via email the following week, after the Saturday appointment.

    I have received my quote. I want to go ahead. What is the next step?

        To accept the quote please send an email or call Chaley. We will confirm the start date with you as soon as we can.

    Do you require a deposit?

        No, we don’t require a deposit when you accept the quote. 


        Given that Sean has an extended lead time on jobs, we don’t ask for a deposit. Paying a deposit doesn’t mean Sean will get the job done faster.


        No deposit also means the pressure is off Sean and he can concentrate on getting the current roofing job done. 


        When Sean gets to your job, his mind will be 100% focused on the job. 


        We do a great job for the client, and the client is happy to pay in full when the job is done.

    What is the turnaround time once a quote is accepted?

        Once a quote is accepted, the standard turnaround time is 8-12 weeks. 


        These timeframes are approximate, and should be used as a guide only. Our timeframes are affected by many variables outside our control, including the weather.


        We will contact you when we can schedule your job and provide a start date.


        If there are delays, we appreciate your patience. We always make every effort to complete jobs promptly. 

    Why is there a long lead-time?

        As the Principal Tradesperson at Roofology, Sean is responsible for assessing your roof and providing solutions. 


        We do not subcontract our work, and Sean does all the roofing work himself.


        Weather delays are common, and if there are unexpected issues on a job, or materials are unavailable, our job schedule is delayed.


        Roofology has established a good reputation within the industry, and most clients are prepared to wait for Sean. 


    Does anyone need to be home for Sean to complete the job?

        Provided Sean can access the area he needs to work on, no one needs to be home for the job to be completed.


        During the initial inspection, Sean will clarify if someone needs to be home, or if alternative arrangements for access are needed.

    What payment options are available?

        Payment in full is due on completion of the job and prompt payment when the invoice is received is appreciated.


        EFT transfer is our preferred method of payment. 


        Unfortunately, we do not take credit card payments.


        The invoice will be emailed to you once Sean completes the job.


        If you cannot make payment in full when the job is completed, contact us beforehand to discuss possible options or alternative arrangements. 


        Failure to make prior arrangements regarding these payment terms may incur late penalties.

    Do you have a workmanship warranty?

        We offer a two-year workmanship warranty on our services. If there are any issues once the work is completed, we will arrange a follow-up appointment for Sean to investigate.


        Roofology uses only quality products that are covered by its manufacturing warranty.
